We are Changsoo and Megan Kim, husband and wife duo behind our mobile food truck, Doyaji! 

We both come from significant food industry backgrounds and after a successful meet-cute in 2019, we spent our early dating and marriage years combining our restaurant experience into manifesting our own sweet little brand. 

Having grown up in Seoul, Changsoo’s culinary roots reside in the vibrant flavors of South Korea, following him to the United States after immigrating with his family in 2007. In a nation where communal eating dominates a significant portion of social life, Korean BBQ has often reigned supreme in the Korean community, both inside and outside of the country. 

Over a table of said BBQ one evening in Portland, we sat with friends and daydreamed about opening our own food truck one day where we could offer the delicious production of Korean BBQ consolidated into one convenient box. That daydream has become a reality, and with the help of our giant mobile truck, we have been rolling around Portland dishing out Korean eats since 2022! 

We currently operate exclusively as a year-round mobile entity, regularly pulling up to a couple bars and breweries, as well as several larger events throughout Portland. Follow along our Instagram page and website for our locations each month!
